Tuesday 5th June, 12.45pm
Cathedral music: A programme of medieval sacred music from St Andrews, Inchcolm and further afield, played on the “cithara, chorus & tiompan” described in 1188 as the three instruments played in medieval Scotland.

Tuesday 3rd July, 12.45pm
Margaret of Scotland, 1281: The story of Scotland and Norway, the Royal Wedding and the lead up to the Wars of Independence, told through music and song of the time. “The King sat in Dunfermline Toun, drinking of the blood red wine...”

Tuesday 7th August, 12.45pm
Old Gaelic Laments: Ceremonial music in memory of important patrons, and other sad and morbid music. The 16th and 17th century gravestones in the Cathedral churchyard brought to life. ”The Terror of Death is with me...”

Tuesday 4th September, 12.45pm
Heroic music: Music associated with the medieval tales of Finn, Ossian, St Patrick, King Arthur and the Fife lad Tristan, including a rare performance of a Fenian lay: “One day when the Fianna were in the Mountains of Marvels...”
