Dungiven outfit Shoes Bowls etc. Tunic

I have two full costumes at present: Dungiven suit

Late 16th-early 17th century
Suitable for Mary Queen of Scots through to the Civil Wars
This outfit is copied from the Dungiven costume. The jacket is made from hand woven hand spun natural colour brown and white wool, hand sewn to copy the original 16th century tailoring. The trews (trousers) are made from red and black tartan cloth, bias (diagonally) cut and hand sewn to copy the originals. The shoes are hand sewn from natural vegetable-tan leather, and are an identical pair - i.e. they are not matched left and right. Arbroath Abbey 6th April 2008

Medieval
Suitable for 11th to 14th century.
This outfit is copied from 11th century manuscript paintings. The tunic (shirt) is hand sewn from linen, dyed blue with woad and embroidered with hand spun silk thread. The hose (leggings) are hand sewn from red linen. The shoes are copied from medieval leather shoes from York.

I also have various 'props' including knives, a medieval sword, wooden bowls and cups, a pottery bottle, cloak, hat, all hand-made to the highest historical standards.

I can also dress in modern formal wear - dinner jacket, silk waistcoat and black bow tie, or wear a modern plain kilt with montrose jacket, or a tartan 'great kilt' with the Dungiven jacket.
